Pentagon Pentagram and the Stunted Obelisk

Introduction

It's been said before by conspiracy theorist that the pentagon resembles the center of a pentagram, and that this has sinister and occult meaning. Plausible so it may also be said that the pentagon resembles a stunted obelisk (from one side, outline of the top section). On the other hand it could be simply design choice, security aspects, aesthetic value etc. Like above so below this may suggest many underground floors that facilitate numerous clandestine projects (maybe bunkers).

Pentagon and the Pentagram

Considering the shape of the pentagon does its shape signify any symbolic significants as the center of a pentagram ? Strange as it may seem the building (aptly named after its shape) conjures many thoughts and questions within ones mind. Moreover the origins and reasoning behind its shape is like a drape over the eyes of the uninitiated, as we aren't mandated and neither our minds intagliated with knowledge of the ancient mysteries. Unless you can interview the architects of the building or obtain relevant information then its difficult to contradict conspiracy theories.

Pythagoras theorem divides the pentagon shape into two parts the top of the pentagram being a triangle and the bottom part being a trapezoid. Another method is splitting the pentagram into three parts, the top being a triangle the center part being another and the bottom section one more. So now you have a triangle and a trapezoid and on the other three triangles, Moreover if you place a pentagram within the pentagon you will find another pentagon forming at the center of the pentagram. As with a fractal (Mandelbrot set) shape whatever section of the fractal you magnify, the result is the exact image you began with (in other words infinity). You could keep reproducing pentagrams within the pentagon and the results are like the fractal, a cycle, a pattern continuously the same for infinity.
